Yesenia and Hector | A Fall Elopement in Colorado
Everyone knows that Colorado has some amazing yellow aspens during Autumn! It is the perfect time for an elopement. Yesenia and Hector had been together for 10 years. When they decided to get married, they wanted to have the perfect Colorado Fall Elopement in Summit County. They celebrated with just the two of them, and it was stunning!

Getting Ready and First Look
Yesenia and Hector started their elopement day getting ready in a beautiful little condo overlooking a pond and golden aspens! Yesenia helped Hector with his boutonniere, but then it was time for him to wait outside while she put on her dress. They still wanted to have a first look even though most of their getting ready was together! Once Yesenia put on her dress and shoes, we went outside for their first look! The sun was shining and Hector was so happy to see his beautiful bride!
The Ceremony
After the first look, we drove over to a spot on the shore of Lake Dillon where we walked around and took a few photos. Soon it was time to head up to Sapphire Point Overlook for their ceremony. There they exchanged vows and rings and had a few bystanders congratulate them when they shared their first kiss! It’s always so sweet when hikers get excited to see a married couple!
Portraits and a Picnic!
After making it official, we walked around and took some more photos. The mountains were covered with yellow aspens off in the distance! While we explored together, the clouds kept coming in and we just hoped it would not start raining or even snowing. Thankfully, it never did and the sun even peaked out again for a little while after Yesenia and Hector shared a picnic and cut their cake! Their picnic was complete with a charcutterie board and sparkling cider! After enjoying some time alone, we packed up and headed to our final location along the shore of Lake Dillon. This is one of my favorite spots that I love to share with my couples!
First Dance
The views of Peak One, golden aspens, pink skies, and a beautiful lake, were the perfect backdrop for Yesenia and Hector’s first dance. I brought a Bluetooth speaker so that they could play their song. It was seriously the sweetest moment!
Golden Aspen Grove Photos: A true Colorado Fall Elopement
Thanks to all of the clouds that kept rolling in, we got to witness the most incredible sunset! The sky turned pink, the lake turned pink, and the golden aspen trees added even more color to this perfect moment! After watching the sunset, we walked around some more down a path lined with aspens. This is where we got those true Colorado fall elopement photos!!!
Fall is such a magical time in Colorado, and Yesenia and Hector’s elopement was nothing short of magical! Congrats, Yesenia and Hector!
