Rongrong and Michael | A Copper Mountain Ski Wedding Adventure
The love story
Rongrong and Michael dated for seven years before they decided to get married! They actually ended up getting married in secret, but wanted some fun wedding photos! A big part of their relationship was meeting up in Colorado for ski trips during their long-distance relationship. Colorado was a good midpoint for them and they definitely enjoyed hitting the slopes together. So, it only seemed fitting to celebrate their love with a Copper Mountain ski wedding session!
Copper Mountain, located in Frisco, CO, is one of my absolute favorite ski resorts! When Rongrong and Michael reached out about having a ski session to celebrate their marriage, I was beyond excited! The views from Copper Mountain are some of the best, and always make for a beautiful backdrop in photos!

We started their day by riding the gondola. Even though it was spring skiing and the sun was shining, it was definitely quite a chilly day! Rongrong and Michael handled the cold like champs. We enjoyed skiing around the mountain and of course rode the lift for those must-have ski lift pictures! They did not let the wind stop them from having the best time together. I certainly had a blast hitting the slopes with these two as well! They are such a sweet couple, and I hope skiing together will always remain a special part of their relationship.
We continued to enjoy a few more runs and the stunning mountain views and took a warm-up break in the lodge. Everyone we came across congratulated the happy couple. There were even cheers coming from the ski lifts above us as we headed down the ski trail. It’s always so fun to witness everyone get excited seeing a bride and groom on the mountain!

Finally, we headed into the village for a few more photo-ops! Copper Mountain center village has a lot of cute areas with large alpine chairs, fire pits, and a covered bridge! It was a fun end to a perfect day!

These are absolutely stunning! I would have never known they were cold at all. The colors, emotions… all tied together with an epic landscape and one of their favorite activities- perfection!
