Emilie and Zach | A Boulder Elopement at Sunrise Amphitheater

A little rain did not stop Emilie and Zach from having the best day for their Boulder elopement!

The perfect location for a Boulder elopement

Emilie and Zach decided to have their elopement in Boulder, Colorado where their closest friends and family could join them. They wanted an intimate wedding that still allowed for a few guests to be a part of their special day. The Sunrise Amphitheater is the perfect location for an elopement in Boulder, CO! With gorgeous views overlooking the city as the backdrop, the Boulder Flatirons off to the side, and seating already built in, you really can not ask for a better location for a wedding!

The First Look

Emilie and Zach wanted to have a first look before their ceremony. I set Zach up to enjoy the Flatiron views while I went to get Emilie. Zach’s face when he saw Emilie for the first time on their wedding day was priceless! His love for Emily was so evident in that moment!

The Ceremony

Clouds started to roll in as Emilie and Zach got ready for their ceremony. Luckily they provided all of their guests with umbrellas so they were all prepared to enjoy the ceremony when the rain started to fall. Emilie walked down the steps with her Dad where Zach waited. Rain or shine, they were ready to get married!

Emilie held her umbrella as the rain started to fall harder and Zach completely embraced getting wet as they laughed together through their ceremony! Everyone enjoyed the stories their officiant, David, shared about them.

Soon it was time to say their vows and exchange rings. The sun started to peak out just in time for this momentous part of their ceremony! Emilie and Zach exchanged rings and shared their first kiss as husband and wife as their family and friends cheered from their amphitheater seats!

Making it official!

Once the ceremony was over, it was time to sign the marriage license! Emilie and Zach had their fathers sign the marriage license as their witnesses. Before the ceremony, I’ll be honest, I could tell that Zach was a little nervous. During some of the photos before the ceremony, I kept trying to get him to put on on a big smile. Well, as soon as that license was signed, Zach had the absolute biggest and most genuine smile on his face! He was officially married to Emilie and ready to keep that smile through the rest of their photos!

Photo Time!

Congratulations, Emilie and Zach!
