Hi! I’m Marta! I am a Colorado adventure wedding photographer, ready to take you on some amazing mountain adventures! My goal here is to combine my love of photography and of the great outdoors to provide you with lasting memories. Through vibrant and true to life photos, I want to take you back to the most special and exciting moments in your life!
Let’s hike to the tallest mountains, drive up mountain passes, ski some powder, paddleboard alpine lakes, or walk through a park together! No matter how you choose to adventure, I would love to be the one to photograph those memories for you!
My story
I grew up on Long Island and always loved vacationing somewhere in the mountains. Usually my family visited places like New Hampshire or Vermont, especially for ski trips. It wasn’t until a grad school visit to the University of Colorado in Boulder, that I saw the Rocky Mountains for the first time. Safe to say I fell in love immediately! I accepted my offer to attend a PhD program in Chemistry.
While in grad school, I spent almost every weekend somewhere in the mountains with my friends. I was always taking pictures of them while we hiked, skied, and camped all over Colorado! At the time, I would have never predicted that I would turn my passion of photography into a career.
My journey to photography
Right after graduating with my PhD, I married the love of my life, Ryan. Then, I accepted a job offer in Colorado Springs. We moved from Boulder for my work and adopted our husky, Koda. I created an Instagram account for him (@koda_the_colorado_husky). This is when my photography really started to become something I felt like I wanted to pursue. I accepted collaboration offers with various brands to create Instagram ads.
Eventually our next rescue pup, Summit, even got to be on a food bag with one of my photos! I continued to dream about turning this hobby of mine into something more and started to take some pictures for couples in gorgeous places like Chautauqua Park and Garden of the Gods. Then I even started booking mini elopements. The rest is history!
While my journey to becoming a professional photographer might be a bit more unconventional than some, I am finally in a place where I feel so fulfilled and happy to serve all couples in love! I am kind of a hopeless romantic, so you better believe I will be there by your side, tearing up when you see each other for the first time on your big day and saying your vows!
I have explored so many places in Colorado, but I also love to travel! Hiking in Utah, Montana, Wyoming, and of course along the East Coast where I grew up! I am ready to share these amazing places with you! If you are looking for a fun day in the mountains with your loved one, your fur babies, or anything in between, I am ready to be your photographer!
