Lexi and Stephen | A Colorado Springs Intimate Wedding at Garden of the Gods and Gold Camp Road
Lexi and Stephen shared their wedding day surrounded by their closest friends and family while they enjoyed the amazing scenery that Colorado Springs has to offer! While they both met and started dating in Houston, they spent some time living in Colorado Springs. Colorado is actually where Stephen first told Lexi that he loved her. So, it only made sense for them to come back to Colorad o Springs to get married. Their Colorado Springs intimate wedding was beyond perfect! From a sunrise first look, a beautiful ceremony, to a delicious brunch, their wedding day was a dream!
The First Look
After getting ready for the big day, Lexi and Stephen headed over to Helen Hunt Falls for their first look at sunrise. Just as the sun started to illuminate the waterfall, Stephen saw his beautiful bride in her stunning dress! They shared a moment together and Lexi read Stephen the sweetest note! Tears were shed before we went to explore some more areas along Gold Camp Road. We took some couples photos along the road and in one of my favorite spots inside the tunnel! We played around with lanterns in the tunnel and then headed back to their VRBO to get together with their families before their ceremony!
A Colorado Springs Intimate Wedding Ceremony
There is no better place in Colorado Springs for an intimate wedding than Garden of the Gods! While it is perfect for a small elopement, there are also a few designated places where you can get married with your friends and family around, as long as you don’t exceed the capacity and follow all of the rules! Lexi and Stephen chose Three Graces Plaza for their ceremony. Lexi’s grandpa walked her down and Stephen’s dad officiated a funny and heartfelt ceremony. Then, Lexi and Stephen shared their vows with one another and exchanged rings as their family and friends watched. After their ceremony, we walked around the park for some more photos before we headed back to the VRBO for their brunch reception!
An Intimate Wedding Brunch Reception
After a very eventful morning, everyone was ready for some food! They had the most beautiful table set-up for their guests and brunch was so delicious! Lexi and Stephen shared their first dance and listened to toasts that left everyone laughing and also in tears! After cake cutting and all celebrations were coming to an end, they had the most fun bubble send-off! One thing I learned at this wedding, was if you give adults bubbles, they will turn into kids again! After their amazing send-off, we spent some more time taking wedding portraits in the beautiful Colorado wildflowers! Every moment of Lexi and Stephen’s day was so special!
Congratulations, Lexi and Stephen!
