Sapphire Point Elopement

Melissa and Aaron | A beautiful springtime Sapphire Point Elopement

Mountain views, beautiful weather, and a gorgeous blue lake served as the backdrop for Melissa and Aaron’s Sapphire Point elopement!

Melissa and Aaron chose to elope at Sapphire Point Overlook in Summit County, Colorado. They traveled far to make it to Colorado for their wedding day. Since they love to travel and see new things together, they decided to visit Colorado for their elopement! Their closest family members, including their daughter, also traveled to witness their special day!

The First Look

The Sapphire Point elopement ceremony location is so perfect for couples that want to include family on their wedding day! The Ten Mile Range is visible above Lake Dillon. The mountain views makes it the most gorgeous background for a Colorado wedding!

To start their ceremony, Melissa’s dad walked her down the aisle. This was Aaron’s first look of Melissa since they did not see each other that morning. Melissa’s mom cried when she saw her beautiful daughter. But, nothing beat Aaron’s reaction when he saw his bride for the first time! You could tell just how much he loves her with that one look!

The Elopement Ceremony at Sapphire Point Overlook

After embracing one another for the first time on their wedding day, Melissa and Aaron were ready to get married! Aaron’s brother officiated their beautiful and intimate ceremony. Melissa and Aaron’s daughter stood by them to witness the marriage of her parents. She even wore the sweetest necklace that read, “Today I tell your mom, I do, but I promise to love you forever too”. After they exchanged rings and shared their first kiss as a married couple, they signed their marriage license. Their daughter signed as their witness and their family was so excited to congratulate them!

Family Fun During Melissa and Aaron’s Elopement

The best part about choosing to elope in the mountains of Colorado is that you can choose to incorporate any traditions that are special to you! Melissa decided she still wanted a bouquet toss. Everyone had a lot of fun!
