Emily and Patrick | A beautiful Lake Dillon Wedding at the Marina Park Pavilion
Emily and Patrick had the perfect wedding day that included so many beautiful and intentional moments. They wanted to include some adventure in their wedding day as well as still include all of their family and friends. Therefore, they started the day exploring Colorado’s Lake Dillon together and shared private vows before meeting up with their wedding party and then heading over to their ceremony for a Lake Dillon Pavilion Wedding!
There are so many beautiful spots along the shores of Lake Dillon in Colorado. If you want a wedding with guests then the Marina Park Pavilion is the perfect location. Getting Ready
Emily and Patrick got ready for their wedding day separately. Emily enjoyed the morning with her bridesmaids who helped her with her hair and makeup. Then it was time to get dressed. Emily had the most stunning dress and even though she had her own veil, she wanted to wear her mother’s veil for some of her bridal portraits. Emily’s bridesmaids were all so excited to see her when she came downstairs to reveal her full look to them! Next, it was time for her first look with her Dad.
First Looks
Before heading out to Lake Dillon for her first look with Patrick, Emily had an incredibly emotional first look with her Dad. After sharing hugs and wiping away a few tears, it was time to head over to one of my favorite spots along the shore of Lake Dillon for the first look with Patrick!
When we reached the spot, I set up Patrick so he would not see Emily coming down. This lead to a funny moment from their day; there was an event with Witches on Paddleboards. Of course I had to snap a photos of them paddling on the lake! Emily and Patrick’s first look was so sweet. They were both so happy to see each other and ready to spend some time adventuring just the two of them! We headed down to the shore for their private vows.
Private Vows on Lake Dillon’s Shore
Emily and Patrick wrote heartfelt vows that they read to one another without anyone else around. The mountain views and twinkling lake were the perfect backdrop for this intimate moment. After enjoying some time by the lake, it was time to head to another location for some photos with their bridesmaids and groomsmen!
Wedding Party Photos
We met up with their wedding party at Sapphire Point Overlook. Emily and Patrick definitely had some fun with their closest people surrounded by the most stunning views on such a beautiful day! Before it was time to make our way to the Pavilion for their wedding ceremony, Emily and Patrick really wanted some photos with their backpacks and “Just Married” signs. They love sharing mountain adventures together so this was the perfect photo to celebrate that about their relationship!
Lake Dillon Marina Park Pavilion Wedding Ceremony
After enjoying the beautiful Colorado locations around Lake Dillon, we made our way to the Lake Dillon Marina Park Pavilion. The views from here are breathtaking and especially with all of the sailboats out on the lake! Before the ceremony started, Patrick’s family and friends prayed over him. Finally, Emily walked down the aisle with her Dad and they exchanged vows and rings before sharing their first official kiss as husband and wife! Then they enjoyed some time taking in all the views and laughing with their guests before the final stop for their amazing day.
Frisco Colorado Reception
To end an already perfect day, Emily and Patrick had a reception for their guests at Vinny’s Restaurant in Frisco, CO. We snuck out onto Frisco Main Street for some golden hour and sunset portraits where Emily and Patrick danced around! Then, they listened to touching speeches and ate delicious food to celebrate the start of their marriage!
Congratulations, Emily and Patrick!
I love how nicely lit all these photos are. You can feel the real/true atmosphere of the day, but everything looks super clear and crisp! Gorgeous venue, gorgeous details and gorgeous work!
Lake Dillon looks like a gorgeous spot for an elopement! Their group looks so sweet; you captured them perfectly.
What a gorgeous venue and photos, looks like a picture perfect day!
Such a beautiful place, and you did a great job shooting in that bright light. And the orange wood for their ceremony–wow, I love it.
