Ashley and Nick | A winter sunset for their Sapphire Point Engagement session
Ashley and Nick were enjoying their time in Colorado for a ski trip and decided to have their engagement photos done during their stay. They knew they wanted beautiful mountain views for their photos. We ultimately decided on Sapphire Point Overlook near Breckenridge, Colorado. It only seemed fitting to have photos here, with views of Breckenridge Ski Resort, because Nick had already picked out his wedding ring and it has the Breckenridge mountains engraved into it! Golden Hour
We started Ashley and Nick’s session with some perfect golden hour light. They were such a joy to work with and we all shared some good laughs together! We walked around together along the snow-covered trail and I loved watching these two just be so in love with one another!
The rings!
As I mentioned above, Nick’s soon-to-be wedding ring has the Breckenridge ski resort mountains engraved into it! He brought it along for the session so I could photograph their rings together. They are both absolutely beautiful!
Sunset and Moon rising!
As the sun started to set and the sky started to turn pink, Nick and Ashley changed into their second outfit. I absolutely love when couples decide to put on more formal attire for their sessions. I mean just look at how stunning Ashley’s sparkly dress is! If you are considering whether to change into a fancy outfit during your engagement photos, I say this is your sign to definitely do it! As the sun continued to disappear, we walked around some more together and enjoyed the cotton candy skies. Soon, we even got to watch as the full moon rose! It was truly a magical evening!
